1080 Titan Gives Back to the Community

As we go through this holiday season, it’s easy to get caught up in the everyday stress of our daily lives and not take stock into the things we can be thankful for. It’s also easy to forget how many other people aren’t as lucky as some of the rest of us. This year, we wanted to give back.

Shout Out to Outreach Hub

This year, we chose to make a donation to Outreach Servce Hub of Oklahoma, a local Tulsa organization that collects reusable medical equipment like wheelchairs, lift chairs, accessibility furniture, hospital beds, and a wide variety of first aid and medical products. They then redistribute them to people in need. It’s a great organization and they work hard to help people get otherwise expensive equipment. It keeps medical waste out of landfills and helps keep people safe.

Our Thanksgiving Donation

This year, our organization decided to focus on giving back during the Thanksgiving season. We wanted to make sure that families in our community who may be struggling financially or facing other challenges could still enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. So, we donated 20 complete Thanksgiving meals through Outreach Hub. Each meal included turkey or ham, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, corn, cranberry, and candied yams.

Giving back to the community is a core value that we hold dear. We believe that it is our responsibility to use our resources and platform to make a positive impact in the lives of those around us. We also love the sense of community and connection that comes with giving back. It allows us to work together with our team and our community to make a difference and spread kindness.
